As a gesture of support during this 2nd wave of the COVID pandemic, Team Vadodara Marathon donates an ambulance to Sir Sayaji General Hospital in Vadodara, Gujarat, India.
Vadodara Marathon Chairperson Tejal Amin handed over the keys to His Worship Shri Keyur Rokadia, Mayor of Vadodara. The Municipal Commissioner Shri Swaroop P and Executive Officer Sir Sayajirao General Hospital (SSG) Shri Biren Pathak were in attendance. In attendance were VM Directors Nilesh Shukla, Minesh Patel, and Chirag Patel.
Hon Mayor Shri Rokadia appreciated the contribution of the Vadodara Marathon for fitness and sports and its support to various civic and social issues.
During the pandemic, Vadodara Marathon’s ongoing community service initiatives include giving meals to the front line warriors of VMC, ration kits to the poor and migrant laborers in 1st lockdown, and donating two ventilators to the SSG Hospital.
Since 2009, Vadodara Marathon (VM) is a registered not-for-profit Indian organization under Section 25 of the Companies Act. Vadodara Marathon (VM) enthuses and encourages citizens to adopt a fitness-oriented and healthy lifestyle.
